We’re delighted to have you here on Ilha Grande, one of the most beautiful and unique places in Brazil. Our house is located in Vila do Abraão, just a short walk from the beach, markets, restaurants, bakeries, bars, and the main starting points for hiking trails and boat tours. You’ll be staying in a peaceful area with easy access to everything you need.
Because we are surrounded by protected conservation areas, we follow sustainable practices to help preserve this paradise. We kindly ask for your cooperation with a few simple guidelines during your stay:
Our guest house is conveniently located in Praia do Canto. Here’s how to reach us:
By the beach trail: A scenic 10-minute walk along the shore (easily manageable in sandals or flip-flops).
By the street/road: A slightly longer 15-minute walk (recommended if you are wearing shoes or have mobility concerns).
We strongly recommend hiring a “Carreteiro” (luggage porter) at the main dock. They wear bright yellow T-shirts with “CARRETEIRO” written on them and can transport your bags in their specialized trolleys for a fee.

Smoking is allowed only on the veranda, to keep the indoor space fresh and pleasant.
After returning from the beach, please rinse your feet using the outdoor shower at the entrance. This helps avoid bringing sand into the bedroom and keeps everything more comfortable for you.
You will receive two keys:
One for the gate that leads to the garden and another for the house. Please keep them safe during your stay.
Kindly dispose of your waste in the designated bins (please never flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet), this helps us maintain sustainable waste management on the island.
When leaving the house, please turn off all lights and electronic devices. Ilha Grande can experience energy fluctuations, and this simple gesture protects the equipment and supports environmental conservation.
