The Whole Island Tour (Volta à Ilha Grande) is the most complete and adventurous speedboat itinerary available. It is designed to explore the entire circumference of the island, including the wilder, more preserved beaches of the southern coast, which face the open ocean.
The tour usually lasts all day, around 6 to 8 hours, and departs from Vila do Abraão.
Key Stop: Caxadaço Beach (Praia do Caxadaço): A small, isolated beach surrounded by large rocks that form a natural pool; Parnaioca Beach (Praia da Parnaioca): An extensive, secluded beach where a freshwater river meets the sea, creating a unique landscape; Adventurer’s Beach (Praia do Aventureiro): The famous postcard image of Ilha Grande, known for its iconic leaning coconut tree. The beach has white sand and blue/green water; Meros Beach a small, almost deserted beach with white sands and crystal-clear waters, excellent for snorkeling and frequently visited by sea turtles.
Lunch Stop: The gastronomic stop usually occurs at beaches like Maguariquessaba or Japariz, which have local waterfront restaurants.
